Colin is a highly experienced business leader having led organizations in fields as diverse as technical services, contracting, engineering, and manufacturing. He has over 30 years’ experience in leadership.

Colin is responsible for Market & Organizational Development and Corporate Governance.

Greg Kelly

Principal

Greg has over 40 years’ experience and is one of Australia’s most respected forensic examiners. He is a specialist in fire forensic investigations and forensic engineering,

Greg is responsible for technical development and governance across the organisation.

Courtney Carstens

Operations Manager

Courtney has over 23 years’ experience in operational and project management within service industries. She has over 5 years’ experience leading the GKAIG operations.

Courtney is responsible for operational and account management across the organisation.

Specialist Teams

Senior Forensic Investigators

GKAIG has Senior Forensic Investigators located in NSW, Vic, Qld, and WA. Minimum requirements for our Senior Investigators to be accredited with GKAIG include tertiary qualifications in Forensic Science, ANZIIF Accreditation and a minimum of 5 years practical experience investigating property, vehicle, marine, plant and equipment fires. In addition to the minimum requirements our Senior Investigators have added qualifications including tertiary qualifications in Chemistry, Diploma in Public Safety and Electrical Trades.

Forensic Engineers

Our Forensic Engineers are tertiary qualified in their disciplined, possess a minimum of 10 years’ experience in their specialty and have successfully completed GKAIG’s investigative technique program. Specialties include electrical, solar, mechatronics and chemical.

Factual Investigators

Our Factual Investigators are all Licensed Investigators, hold ANZIIF Accreditation and have a minimum of 5 years’ Technical Investigation experience.

Analytical Manager

Our Analytical Manager has tertiary qualifications in Forensic Science, Forensic Chemistry and Fire Debris and is responsible for the laboratory’s NATA accreditation and continued compliance with the standard.
